Starting in June, meet us at your local park for Stories in the Park! Bring a blanket and sunscreen and join us for stories, songs and plenty of fun! Enjoy storytimes at City Park, McCallum Park, and Dunham Park. (These programs will be cancelled in case of rain or if KFL&A Public Health issues a heat or air quality advisory. On Saturday, June 2, celebrate National Indigenous History Month at the Calvin Park branch. Drop in at 2 p.m., to come and learn from local Indigenous author Rick Revelle. A member of the Ardoch Algonquin First Nation, he will be telling stories and demonstrating artifacts from his heritage. This program is best suited for children ages 4 and up.

Let your imagination soar at Cardboard Creations at the Isabel Turner branch on Wednesday, June 13, at 6 p.m. Drop in for some fun cardboard construction using the library’s Makedo toolkit and upcycled cardboard. All supplies are included. Best suited for children ages 6 and up.
