Kawartha Lakes Public Library welcomes author Janet Stobie as she launches her new book “To Begin Again” at the Lindsay branch library on Wednesday, June 13 at 7 pm.   “To Begin Again” is the story of widower, Steve Grenville, and his seventeen-year-old daughter as they begin again as a family of two after the death of wife and mother, Serena,  in the small town of Catalpa Creek.  Janet has written an intriguing story of laughter and tears.  It will nudge you to consider how your faith affects your own response to events and people in today’s world. “To Begin Again” is both a stand-alone novel and a sequel to Janet Stobie’s first novel, “Fireweed.
