Local estates solicitor Brian Gillingham will be speaking about estate planning and administration. Learn why advance planning is so advisable and which common pitfalls to avoid when preparing wills. Power of attorney issues and the roles and responsibilities of executors and attorneys for property and personal care will be discussed. You will be able to ask questions, but we caution that no legal advice will be provided.

We will be offering this talk twice, on Tuesday, May 22 at 7 p.m. at the Calvin Park Branch, and again on Saturday, May 26 at 2 p.m. at the Isabel Turner Branch. As both presentations will be the same, please plan to attend one or the other, but not both. Each is open to adults only, and seating is limited. To avoid disappointment please register in advance. Registration for both sessions opens online at events.kfpl.ca and by phone at (613) 549-8888 as of 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 12. For more information visit www.kfpl.ca .
