Because of the need for independence experienced by teens, they most often turn to their peers for support and understanding. However, in grief, they may not be able to find help in their own circle and they may feel completely isolated.
Our trained Grief Facilitators offer a specially designed program to a group of teens who have all experienced loss through death. Peer support is offered in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.

The WindsorEssex Community Foundation invites you to join them in celebrating Random Act of Kindness Day on November 2! All you have to do is do something nice for someone and ask nothing more than for that person to pay it forward. Not sure how to show your kindness? Get a group together and plan a neighbourhood clean-up, open the door for someone, compliment a stranger, send a kind message to a friend/relative/significant other, take your pet for a long walk. Need more ideas the WECF has a list on their website 101 Acts of Kindness to get you start! Once you have completed your act of kindness share it on social media, the WECF would love to hear and promote the good work you are doing on their social media channels. Make sure to use #RakDay and follow @WECFoundation on Twitter and Instagram. Let’s make kindness the norm on November 2!
