The Grimsby Historical Society invites you to explore the remarkable interiors of six heritage houses, all timeless treasures of Grimsby.   The tour will provide insight into what Grimsby looked like over two-hundred years ago and how architectural styles evolved over time as the community blossomed into what it is today.

The six houses include:

  • a distinctive Shafter Brothers home from 1930
  • a Painted Lady from historic Grimsby Beach
  • a modern home that transports you to the Victorian Age as you step inside

New this year -  a complimentary "hop-on/hop-off" shuttle is available!  Park at the Carnegie Building at 25 Adelaide or St Andrew's Church Parish Hall at 7 St. Andrew's Avenue to catch the shuttle.

We are pleased to feature the following authors – Kevin Frank, Ron Houlihan, Jean Jones, Shirley McCormick, Connie Neill, Janet Stobie, J. Stephen Thompson, Sara Walker-Howe, Ruth Waring, Tanya Willis, and Virginia Winters.

Each author will have an opportunity to talk about their work and following the presentations everyone is invited to talk to the authors, ask questions and enjoy light refreshments.
