Now through July 6 pet owners can submit an original photo of their pet as part of this fun contest. All pets are welcome — cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, you name it!

Eligible entries received during the entry period are evaluated by a panel of judges, who select the 32 qualifying photos which best meet the judges’ criteria including originality, overall appeal and composition.

The voting period begins July 13 at noon with 32 qualifying pets displayed head-to-head. The public votes for their favourite in each pair. At the end of the first voting period 16 pets move to the next round and pair off beginning July 16. The third round starts with eight pets July 17 followed by the final four facing off July 18.
