As a generation of blood donors, Veterans of our Canadian Forces and the Windsor Regiment Association (The Windsors) are supporting the Canadian Blood Services by participating in the 2nd Annual Windsor Regiment Rob Robertson and Veterans’ Memorial Blood Donor Clinic taking place Saturday 7 April 2018, 0800hrs. – 1030hrs. at the Canadian Blood Services - 3909 Grand Marais Road East - Windsor, Ontario

The public is cordially invited to join our Veterans to continue this long-standing Canadian tradition of voluntarily donating blood that stems from WW II.

"The Souq" is a multicultural Arabian Style Marketplace & Coffee House to raise funds for the United Syrian Family Support Group of Belleville.

The Souq will feature 25 vendors, homegrown independent artists/jewellers, businesses, craftspeople, ethnic foods and entertainment to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our city. Wonderful lunch available by Chilango’s So bring money and plan to shop, buy raffle tickets and bid on silent auction items.  Come celebrate community.

The NTS Drama Festival (prev. Sears Drama Festival) Nipissing District Festival will take place over three nights at West Ferris Secondary School and will feature 8 productions put on by 7 schools across the Nipissing-Near North Area.Tickets will be $10 and each night starts at 7 p.m.

May is Mystery Month! To celebrate, the Belleville Public Library is pleased to host Canadian mystery author Barbara Fradkin for a book talk on Saturday, May 5 from 11-12:30. Ms. Fradkin is the author of the Inspector Green, Amanda Doucette, and Cedric O’Toole mystery series! She is the winner and nominee of multiple awards including the Arthur Ellis Award from the Crime Writers of Canada. Ms. Fradkin will be signing and selling copies of her books.
