Walk will be held at the Rotary Picnic Shelter at the waterfront. Registration at noon and walk will begin at 1pm. Many great things are in store for our walk this year. Touch Animal Rehabilitation will be joining us again for a pre walk warm up session and after the walk there will be a BBQ, lots of prizes, Raffle and Silent Auction. Prancing Paws Pet Photography will be on site doing one on one photos with you and your pet. and each walker will leave with a bag full of goodies for their furry friends to enjoy.
Also mark your calendar for our annual Dog Wash on Sunday June 10th from 12-3pm.
Thanks to our sponsors, 100% of the funds raised from the Walk go directly towards the raising, Training and placement of Dog guides for Canadians with medical or physical disabilities. Dog guides Canada has already provided specialty trained Dog Guides to more than 2764 men, Women and Children, all without any government funding. With your help more people will experience the mobility, safety and independence a devoted Dog Guide Brings.
Making sweet music together for 19 years, blues/folk duo "DnA" is comprised of husband and wife Doug Boudreau and April Mitchell-Boudrea. Bringing Acadian (Doug) and Haudenosaunee (April) roots together, they embody the philosophy of two row wampum teaching of mutual respect and harmony on and off the stage. A mix of covers by Canadian artists and their own original tunes, this acoustic experience is intimate and authentic. Presented in conjunction with Niagara Concert Series. No registration required. Seating is limited.
