Smiths Falls Community Theatre presents their first concert in the 2018 music series.

A concert of piano classics and contemporary pieces sure to entertain the listener!

Audiences will enjoy timeless piano favorites from the classics to beyond.  Michael’s pianistic style and interpretation come to life in the works of Chopin’s Heroic Polonaise in Ab Major, Mozart’s Piano Sonata in Bb major(k.333), Debussy’s Clair de Lune and more. As a pianist Michael is described as having a fluid technique and warm touch which draws the listener into the music. Michael breaks down formal barriers with his fun and interesting narrative that touches upon the composers life and musical styles the pianist most portray.

March 16 & 17 at 7pm. 'Darkest Hour' starring Academy Award Winner Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill. Rated PG 13. Tickets at the door, cash - $10/$5

Within days of becoming Prime Minister of Great Britain, Winston Churchill (Gary Oldman) must face one of his most turbulent and defining trials: exploring a negotiated peace treaty with Nazi Germany, or standing firm to fight for the ideals, liberty and freedom of a nation. As the unstoppable Nazi forces roll across Western Europe and the threat of invasion is imminent, and with an unprepared public, a skeptical King, and his own party plotting against him, Churchill must withstand his darkest hour, rally a nation, and attempt to change the course of world history.
