Starting in June, meet us at your local park for Stories in the Park! Bring a blanket and sunscreen and join us for stories, songs and plenty of fun! On Saturday, June 2, celebrate National Indigenous History Month at the Calvin Park branch. Drop in at 2 p.m., to come and learn from local Indigenous author Rick Revelle. A member of the Ardoch Algonquin First Nation, he will be telling stories and demonstrating artifacts from his heritage. This program is best suited for children ages 4 and up.
What will you make? Let your imagination soar at Cardboard Creations at the Isabel Turner branch on Wednesday, June 13, at 6 p.m. Drop in for some fun cardboard construction using the library’s Makedo toolkit and upcycled cardboard. All supplies are included. Best suited for children ages 6 and up.
