We’re really excited to announce that C-Tow Marine Assistance will be sponsoring an A Greener Future event in Kingston this summer! ⁠

Since 1984, C-TOW Marine Assistance Ltd., has been providing "Peace of Mind Boating" to boaters on the west coast of British Columbia, Ontario & the Maritimes. Their service tow boats are on 24-hour stand-by and are always ready to assist. ⁠In 2023 they expanded their reach and launched the Ripple Program, designed to support groups and individuals lead beach clean-ups. They’ve experienced a lot of success in B.C. so far! This year, they are launching the Ripple Program in Ontario for the first time, and are working with us, sponsoring and co-facilitate the following cleanup event:⁠

At all C-Tow sponsored events, you will be provided with a clean up kit. In addition, they will be providing a canopy tent and package-free snacks and water. Though we encourage volunteers to bring their own reusable water bottles to fill up as needed! 

Come out and support local vendors and a community minded church at our upcoming Vendor's Market on Saturday June 15th from 10am to 2pm at St Pauls Anglican Church, 92 St Paul Street Essex. Lots of vendors, books, baked goods and lunch!

Calling all Bid Euchre players! Bid Euchre Tournament on June 22 benefitting Different Abilities, a nonprofit craft store and drop in centre with items for sale crafted by people with disabilities. Call Ted to register at 613-330-7532. Deadline to register is Friday June 7.

What better way to celebrate Father's Day than with a Breakfast and Car Show!

🍽️ Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, and sausage. Refreshments include coffee, tea, and orange juice.

We are proud to present our first JUNK in the TRUNK Sale! On June 15th, 8 am-12 pm (vendors arrive at 7:30 am for set up). Bring your spring cleaning items to sell at Heartland Forest’s community sale, proceeds going to Hope Floats & Wellspring Niagara. Vendor Spaces are $10 per spot. Eight foot  tables are available to rent for $5 or bring a table.  

Bottle & Can Drive: Accepting wine, spirit and cooler containers over 100 ml sold through LCBO stores and Ontario winery retail stores, and beer containers over 100 ml from The Beer Store or sold outside The Beer Store system (this includes tetra, bag in box and cases). Proceeds going to Hope Floats & Wellspring Niagara. Drop off your empties at the Reception located in the Nature Centre, between 9 am & 4 pm, 7 days a week.

Pick up of empties available within Niagara Falls on Saturday, June 8th:    to arrange for the pick up of your empties contact Lisa Arp by Wed., June 5th.

Bands will be every second week from June to August.
