Join us for Pembroke Legion Fun Golf July 7 at the Indian River Golf Course.  Cost is $35 per person.  Four golfers, best ball.  Team Captain must register and pay for team at the Branch.  You are responsible to reserve your cart with the golf course.  Buffet in the Legion Hall at 5:30 p.m.

Join the Pembroke Legion for the Canada Day parade down at the Waterfront Sunday, July 1st at 11:45am.  There will be music back at the branch from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Entertainment is Auld Debt.  Enjoy a T-bone steak bbq from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in the hall.  Cost is $18. Open to the public.

Smiths Falls Community Theatre Music Series continues with the multi talented, multi instrumental, singer, songwriter and composer Angelique Francis. This young performer is experienced far beyond her years with an eclectic mix of musical genres including Blues, Soul, Folk, Jazz and Rock. She has a love of all types of music, which is obvious when you hear her original compositions. This young lady has been performing since she was 7 years old and we are lucky to have her in between performances at the Ottawa Jazz Festival and Bluesfest. This intimate concert in our 140 seat venue will surely allow for a wonderful experience for music lovers.

Tickets are $30 all in and can be purchased in person (with cash) at Special Greetings or by phone 613-283-0300 or online www.smithsfallstheatre.com (with cc). The concert is on Friday, June 29th at 8pm. St. John's Lutheran Church Choir will be on stage at the Pembroke Marina bandshell for the June 30, 2018 Gospel Night at 7 PM.

In case of rain, this concert will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Corner of Miller and Doran Streets, in Pembroke

Beginning Tuesday, July 3rd 2018  and continuing daily (except Monday) until labour day, Scottish Teas will be available from 1-4 pm at Hutchison House Museum, 270 Brock Street, Peterborough.

 

Scottish Tea, served on the terrace in the period garden, includes fresh baked scones, preserves, whipped cream, oatcakes, and tea, lemonade, or ice tea. Complimentary tours of the 1840s restored stone house are included with the teas. The cost for tea is $10.00 for adults and youth, $5.00 for children under 10 years of age.
