Voices of Victory, a 25-voice Youth choir from Lindsay, Ontario, brings their Ontario-tour Spring Concert to Christ Anglican Church, 312 Greenwood Avenue, North Bay on Thursday 17 May at 7:00 pm. The concert will include 30 minutes of various choral arrangements and the second half will feature the musical The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit, a fabulous high energy 40 minute musical about David and Goliath by Alan Pote. These programmes are very entertaining for both young and old. Voices of Victory is heard regularly on the radio over the Christmas season and has been featured in a Christmas special on Vision TV. If you are Homeless in Lanark County we would like to know. Our Homeless Enumeration Count will occur during the week of May 7th - 11th, 2018. Surveys can be completed at all Social Service offices during the week between the hours of 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. We have arranged for Perth, Smiths Falls and Carleton Place libraries to offer a public, accessible space to complete the survey during that week. The Table Food Centre have also offered space and specific times for people to complete the survey at their location in Perth.
Please watch our website and social media for times and places where the survey will occur. After completion of the survey a small honorarium will be given as a Thank You. The answers you give us today may impact your tomorrows.

Power of attorney issues and the roles and responsibilities of executors and attorneys for property and personal care will be discussed. You will be able to ask questions, but we caution that no legal advice will be provided.
We will be offering this talk twice, on Tuesday, May 22 at 7 p.m. at the Calvin Park Branch, and again on Saturday, May 26 at 2 p.m. at the Isabel Turner Branch. As both presentations will be the same, please plan to attend one or the other, but not both. Each is open to adults only, and seating is limited. To avoid disappointment please register in advance.
