University Players' next production is the provocative dark comedy/thriller, Love and Human Remains by Brad Fraser, which opens on March 2nd.  This controversial show about a group of twenty-somethings in their search for love and sex promises to wow audiences with violence, nudity, frank dialogue, and sexual explicitness. 

Now's your chance to prepare for opening night and get the inside story from the playwright at the next Let's Talk Theatre event at Walkerville Brewery, March 1.  Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are $20 and include a presentation by Brad Fraser, pizza, and a beer.

Located in the historic distillery district, Walkerville Brewery is proud to be Windsor's largest craft brewery, offering a great line of craft beers along with numerous seasonal and special edition offerings. 

Deadline for purchasing tickets is February 26.

Blessed Sacrament Knights of Columbus are hosting a Fish Fry on Friday, March 9 from 5 pm until 6:30 pm. Perch or Pickerel Dinner with all the fixings for only $16, children under 7 to 13 yrs old $7. Children under 6 are free. Macaroni and cheese dinners are also available for $5. Since May is the month of Mothers, Jo’s Arty Party will be dedicating this fundraiser specifically to the needs and care of Emma’s Gang, a Mom and her beautiful litter of 10 puppies who were born at the end of January and who are being cared for by Second Chance Animal Rescue (in memory of Baby Rue #11 who fought a valiant fight).

For only $35 you can enjoy an afternoon of fun, laughs and a paint experience where you will go home with a PAWS-itively PURR-fect painting! We can even arrange to have your fur-baby’s name added to the painting to make it even more special and one-of-a-kind.

World Day of Prayer service hosted by the Smiths Falls Women's Inter-church Group at Trinity United Church, Market St., Smiths Falls. All are welcome. Free-will offering is administered through the Women's Inter-church Council of Canada to help women and children around the world via grants. Suriname is the feature country this year.
