The Annual Gala Dinner & Comedy Show has been our "Signature Event" for the past 17 years. Join us for our 18th Gala on Saturday, September 15th, 2018, at the Best Western Parkway Inn. Cocktails at 6:00 p.m., four-course dinner at 7:00 p.m. & comedy show by DEREK SEGUIN at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $90.00, available at the Bereaved Families office (216 Montreal Road) or online at Eventbrite. GM St. Catharines is revving up for the 20th Annual Show n’ Shine Car Show on Friday, August 10th at McKinnon Park located onsite at the plant in St. Catharines. For the first time in three years, GM St. Catharines will also be offering plant tours to the general public on the day of the car show.
The Show n’ Shine started as a passion project organized by dedicated GM employees and in its first year featured 16 Corvettes and a handful of enthusiasts. Since then, the car show has developed into a more inclusive event for the plant and the community, showcasing any vehicle powered by a GM engine and averaging 350 vehicles and twice as many spectators from across Ontario and New York State. This year’s show will have vehicles ranging from classic Camaros to modern Chevrolet Bolt EVs, and everything in-between.
Show n’ Shine Car Show
Time: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Awards: 27 designations including “Best of Show” categories, such as Best of Show – Vintage and Best of Show – Most Radical, as well as three “People’s Choice” awards
Cost: $5 to register a vehicle, free for spectators

*Must be 18+ years old to register a vehicle. Event is all ages. Rain or shine.
Open House Plant Tours
Times: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Cost: Free
*Must be 12+ years old to tour the plant. Tour is approximately 1 km and will take one hour to complete.

The Petrolia Heritage Committee invites you to Walk into the Past on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Hillsdale Cemetery (3725 Petrolia Line), Petrolia. The Petrolia Heritage Committee will be hosting our popular walking tour of the site. This event promises the visitor guided tours and an accurate recounting of historical events in period costume by Petrolia Community Theatre actors, featuring story-telling about colourful characters from Petrolia’s past. Guided tours leave every 15 minutes, and run between noon and 4pm. Please purchase tickets in advance at the Victoria Playhouse Petrolia Box office at 411 Greenfield St. Petrolia.

Monday Night Trivia returns with a night of Harry Potter Trivia! Monday, August 13th, 7:00 p.m. at Lasso Live, doors open at 6:30 p.m.
This time around, we have partnered with Family and Children's Services of Renfrew County to turn August's trivia night into a fundraiser for the Darlene Aikens Fund to help families send children and youth to camp.
It will be $5 per person, which can be paid at the door. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the Darlene Aikens Fund. Teams of anywhere from 1-6 people are welcome!
We're kicking our prizing up a notch and have gathered a great selection of giveaways from Lasso Live, the Pembroke Mall, Joes Family Pizzeria, the City of Pembroke, and a few surprises.
