The City of Windsor 2018 Interim property tax bills have been mailed. If you have not received your tax bills by February 5, 2018 or have questions in regards to the amount of the bill, please call 311(alternate: 519-255-2489) or 1-877-746-4311 for toll-free long distance.

Please note that failure to receive a tax bill does not exempt property owners from paying their taxes. Penalties and interest (which can add up to 15% of the taxes on an annual basis) will be added for late payments.

Walkerville Centre for the Creative Arts has partnered with The University of Windsor School of Dramatic Art and Stratford Off The Wall in the creation of the set, props, masks and armour for WCCA’s upcoming play The Trojan Women. February 16, 17, 22, 23, & 24 at 7pm and Sunday Feb 18 in the Walkerville Collegiate auditorium, at 2100 Richmond. Tickets are available at the door for $10; student tickets are $5.

May 3, registration and continental breakfast, 7:30am. Shotgun start, 9am at Ambassador Golf & Country Club, 1025 Sprucewood Ave. Tickets $95 each. Corporate hole sponsorships available.

Public Announcement - Windsor/Leamington - Town of Tecumseh Cat Spay & Neuter Voucher Program

The Town of Tecumseh, in partnership with local veterinary hospitals/clinics, is pleased to once again provide its Cat Spay and Neuter Voucher Program (Program) beginning Friday, February 9, 2018. This Program is available to residents of the Town of Tecumseh, only.

In an effort to reduce the number of feral cats in the Town, 95 Vouchers will be issued to sterilize cats. The Vouchers are valued at $50 each.

Vouchers for owned cats are reserved for low-income families. A declaration of income will be required. A maximum of three (3) Vouchers will be issued where the cats are owned (3 available). For feral cat caregivers, a maximum of five (5) Vouchers will be issued (92 available), with no income restrictions.

Applications for the 2018 Spay and Neuter Voucher Program will be available at the Town Hall during regular office hours, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, or on the Town’s website. Those who meet the eligibility criteria will be issued a Voucher(s) starting February 9, 2018. Please note that Vouchers are issued on a first come, first serve basis.
