The opening will take place on February 3, Saturday, 7-9pm at Mackenzie Hall Cultural Centre. The “Atonement” exhibition will display visual art pieces of local Windsor-Essex artists in the Main Gallery at the Mackenzie Hall Cultural Centre. This exhibition is an opportunity for artists to share their thoughts on social justice and the legal system, and encourage dialogue. The exhibit will explore historical and contemporary social and political issues, including ecological destruction, poverty, discrimination and the effect institutions and the legal system have had on marginalized communities through the medium of art.
Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday from 7-9pm at the Perth Family Health Centre, 33 Lews Street, Perth. For this month the meeting takes place Thursday February 15. Everyone is welcome and for more info you can contact Carleen at 613-812-4474
Chippawa Lions are proud to present our first Paint Nite. Established in 1941, the Chippawa Lions Club has a long legacy of service. We have a rich history of serving the citizens of Chippawa and area, Niagara Falls and the world. We have helped families in need and donated funds that assist families in need. The organizations we support include the Boy's & Girl's Club, Project Share, and numerous others.
Join us as we raise glasses and funds for this worthy cause! When you buy a ticket to this event, $15 will be donated to the charity above. To date, Paint Nite has helped raise over $3.5 million for those in need with lively creative events that feel more fun than philanthropic. Feel good about giving as our local artist guides you and your friends through two hours of painting, drinking, and laughing ‘til your cheeks hurt. The best part? You don’t have to be an artist to have an amazing time.
