Calling all cat people, especially those with a competitive streak! Two fancy felines face off in Catwalk, a funny and moving portrayal of the passionate sub-culture of cat showing. “Cat Fanciers” Shirley and her prize-winning Persian, “Ohh-la-la” (or “La” for short”) takes on Kim’s Turkish Angora, “Bobby”. La is going for one more award on the shelf while Kim is pouring money into ensuring her companion goes home number one. Best in Show meets the Hot Docs favourite Kedi in this cross-country tour of Canada’s most charming kitties and the colourful characters who pamper them. Come and celebrate National Canadian Film Day with the newest documentary from director Michael McNamara (CELTIC SOUL – KCFF’17) and co-director Aaron Hancox.
