Learn the basic foundation for building an open terrarium and caring for your botanicals. All materials included at this library fundraiser in partnership with Primrose & Willow. $45. Join the Canadian Mental Health Association, Windsor-Essex County Branch on June 24 as we Ride with thousands of other participants coast-to-coast in our 5th annual Ride Don't Hide event. This event is a ride, not a race and features distances suitable for every age and fitness level, including 10k, 20k, 50k and 100k lengths!

Participants will enjoy a light breakfast, rider gift bag, pre-ride warm-up and post-ride lunch, entertainment and prizes. Registration is now open!

Join the Canadian Mental Health Association, Windsor-Essex County Branch for our annual charity golf tournament. Held at the prestigious Essex Golf & Country Club, the tournament features 18 holes of golf with cart, pizza upon arrival, great golfer gifts, lunch at the turn, great pick-a-square prizes, entertainment and dinner.

$300 per player. Sponsorship opportunities available.

Proceeds support the Griefworks program, which provides supportive grief counseling to children and youth that have experienced the loss of a loved one.

Meet the Author: Claire Smith – “Falling into Now: Memories of Sport, Traumatic Brain Injury and Education.”

Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 pm at the Brockville Public Library. A Friends of the Brockville Public Library event.

When a life-changing injury forces her to relinquish her equestrian identity, Claire Smith embarks on a journey of healing, recovery, and reinvention. Claire sits on the board of the Brockville YMCA and was previously a board member of the Wings of Phoenix, an Ottawa charity. In June 2018, she will become a director of the Board of the Ontario Brain Injury Association.
