Northumberland Chorus, Sweet Adelines, is a fun group of Women who have been meeting/singing together for 40+ years, supporting Women in song, and serving our community together in song. The Canadian Club of Halton (CCH) is pleased to announce its new season with headliners and topics to appeal to the vast majority who enjoy stimulating speakers and excellent cuisine.  The 2024-25 season consists of seven dinner/speaker evenings starting September 19th, 2024 through April 24, 2025 at the Oakville Conference Centre. The Rotary Club of Peterborough is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Fore the Kids Golf Tournament on September 26th, 2024, at the picturesque Bellmere Winds Golf Course, located at 1235 Villiers Line, Keene, ON. Teeing off with a SHOTGUN START at 1:00 pm, this year's tournament promises to be a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and enthusiastic support for a worthy cause.

The Rotary Fore the Kids Golf Tournament is presented by Linwood Homes, a valued supporter of community initiatives, making this event possible. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for individuals and businesses looking to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and youth.

The afternoon event will be a great way to get in a round of golf while supporting the kids in our communities. Kids like Jude, who is three years old and has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy and a Global Development Delay. Jude has been accessing Five Counties programs like physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy since he was four months old. “Thank you to everyone who supports this event. It shows the families at Five Counties that they have an entire community behind them, cheering them on.” says Jude’s mom, Julie.

Hutchison House Museum will be hosting a Silent Auction with a variety of donated items to raise money for the ongoing maintenance of the museum. Auction items range from Framed Artwork, rare books, and more! Auction items will be on display in the Harvey Connal Room of the museum and online on our Social Media channels from September 13-30.
