Community Event - Cornwall - Bereaved Families Family Day Extravaganza

We invite families to join us on Family Day, February 19th, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a few hours of indoor fun. There will be 10 activity stations, special visitors, prizes to be drawn, complimentary snacks and beverages. A photographer will be on site to capture your special moments.

Tickets are $5.00 per person or $20.00 for a family of 5 and can be purchased at Bereaved Families (216 Montreal Road), Fantasy Realm (227 Pitt Street) and Kid's Korner (141 Pitt Street).

Northumberland Players, your local non-profit community theatre group, is mounting the toe tapping production of SISTER ACT.  This is particularly special because the rights to perform SISTER ACT have only recently been released to amateur community theatre groups.

SISTER ACT is the feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit film that has audiences jumping to their feet!

When disco diva, Deloris Van Cartier, witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in in a convent.  Disguised as a nun, Deloris uses her disco moves to inspire the choir and the story moves on...

If you are seeking employment where you will be serving alcoholic beverages, Ontario law states that you must have passed the Smart Serve course. Taking it at EEC is convenient and meets all requirements for Smart Serve Certification. Cost: $35.00 for materials and test, payable prior to the workshop.
