Niagara on the Lake Community Palliative Care Service is organizing a SHRED IT event in partnership with Meridian Credit Union.  It provides residents with a convenient and economical way to dispose of confidential documents and at the same time raise funds to support this important community organization offering free services to residents with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Volunteers from Palliative Care, Meridian, the community, along with students from Royal Elite International Academy will be there to greet residents and receive their materials for professional shredding. 

The event takes place on SATURDAY, AUGUST 18 from 9 am until 1 pm in the parking lot of Meridian Credit Union, 1567 Niagara Stone Road in Virgil.  The charge for shredding is $6 a banker's box or 3 boxes for $15.

Liverpool Echo is a Beatles Tribute Band - Enjoy a four course dinner that begins at 6pm - show begins at 8pm.  Dinner and Show tickets are $40 per person.  There is Limited seating - advance ticket purchase is recommended.

Join us for a day at the Casino!  Bus leaves Belle River at 9:45am returns approx. 7pm.  Tickets are $20 (includes $10 free play when you register at the Casino)  Tickets must be purchased by Sept 11 at the Belle River Legion.  Contact Legion for additional information at 519-728-2351. 

Friday Aug.24, 2018 Pickin' n Fiddlin' will be held at Wyoming Legion from 8 till midnight.  Door donations will go to St. Joseph's Hospice this month. Sponsored by the Legion Ladies Auxiliary. All musicians and public welcome.

It’s almost time for WAMBO – and don’t forget about the Wallaceburg Museum! We will have lots of fun things to do. We have a dunk tank, Plinko board, face painting, kid’s games, and more. Local businesses will be in Jeanne Gordon Hall. There will be free entry into the museum and our Juried Art Show is on display and will be on for WAMBO! Our WAMBO festivities will be going on from 10AM-3PM on August 11th. COME DUNK NHL player Seth Griffith in our dunk tank at 2PM.
