Transit Windsor will be hosting a Public Information Meeting to discuss a proposed location for a new west Windsor transit terminal.

Transit Windsor will be relocating from the College Avenue terminal and is looking for a more inclusive location that will serve as an accessible neighbourhood anchor in west Windsor.

The Public Information Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 8, 4-8pm at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, 1453 Prince Road.

Tecumseh Parks & Recreation invites residents to get in motion this March Break with six (6) free public skate sessions at the Tecumseh Arena thanks to the generous support of the Healthy Kids Community Challenge, Pathway to Potential, and Mayor Gary McNamara. The free skates are as follows:

  • Monday, March 12, 12-1pm
  • Tuesday, March 13, 2:30-3:30pm 
  • Wednesday, March 14, 12-1pm
  • Thursday, March 15, 2:30-3:30pm
  • Friday, March 16, 12-1pm

 

Admission is first come, first served based on ice capacity. Helmets are recommended. Skaters must provide their own equipment. For more information visit www.tecumseh.ca or call the Tecumseh Parks & Recreation Department at 519-735-4756.
