Empty Bowls is Martha's Table annual fundraiser.  Local potters (thank you Kingston Potters Guild and independent artists!) create one of a kind bowls, restaurants donate soup, bakeries donate dinner rolls, musicians donate their time and music, local business' donate silent auction items--all this comes together to create a unique and family friendly afternoon in the beautiful historic University Club (thank you Queen's University).  When you purchase a ticket you choose your bowl--to keep!--then we serve your choice of soup in the bowl!  It is a lovely event and we truly appreciate the support of so many local people and business'.

A free workshop for seniors put on by Point Care Pharmacy on the importance of understanding your medications in order to optimize your health. A safe disposal site for medications will be available. What was peculiar about Freddie McMaster’s demise? What happens in the sudden collapse of the Turnbull building?  These questions and more will help you discover stories of Peterborough’s fascinating past.
