Brunch, le dimanche 10 décembre 2017, de 10 h à 13 h, au sous-sol de l'église Saint-Thomas de Montmagny. Organisé par les membres Chevaliers de Colomb du conseil 2634 de Montmagny. Le 90e anniversaire de fondation du Conseil sera souligné. Come on out to the Masonic Hall, 46 Russell St W., Smiths Falls, on Nov. 19th from 2pm to 4pm! Many vendors here for your shopping pleasure. Enjoy dessert and tea or coffee for $5.
Open to the public - Christmas Bazaar and Craft Sale - showcasing 25 local vendors - Hot lunch included. Proceeds will support the local outreach programs.
Starting at 4 PM we have fun for the whole family. Face painting with the Painted Cat, Sarnia Sting Bees, Horse-Wagon Rides, glow in the dark trinkets for sale, Disney Princess, hot drinks provided by Blackwater Cafe, hot food provided by local chip trucks, etc.
Then at 6 PM our main show starts with a local band performing Christmas carol covers from artists like Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Pentatonix, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Glee and many more! There will also be a special appearances by Elsa, our very own radio hosts Eve Morgan and Carrie Buchanan and Santa himself!
We will have cupcakes, fireworks and of course, the LIGHTS! And this year, the world renown Candle Arch is fully restored and ready to shine bright for everyone. This will be our biggest year yet, especially with our come back from almost closing shop last year and with this being Canada 150, the Celebration of Lights Board and Committees wanted to bring back the wonder of Christmas for the whole family!
Join us for three days of action-packed hockey as 10 teams showcasing the best of the best from 5 junior hockey leagues in Eastern Canada compete for the Eastern Canada Cup. Enjoy back to back hockey action 12 hours/day at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens in Trenton. Three day passes, game day passes and family packages are available online at https://tickets.trentongoldenhawks.ca/ or by visiting the Golden Hawks Box Office prior to or during the event. Scouts from all over North America will be there to prospect for the NHL, NCAA and USports.
When caring for a loved one, there can be many challenges. Often in caregiving, we can feel alone and overwhelmed. On Thursday, December 7 at 2:30 pm, the Belleville Public Library will be hosting a workshop with Elder Abuse Ontario that will walk you through those challenges and share resources that are available for caregivers and families of seniors.
