Lombardy Agricultural Society presents their annual Yard Sale in the Barn on Saturday June 9. Sale runs 8am until Noon at the Lombardy Fairgrounds. If you wish to be a seller you can rent a table for $10. Call Carol 613.283.3631 or email lcjoynt@gmail.com.
The Canadian Hearing Society is happy to announce our Summer ASL courses will be beginning soon! We offer ASL courses based on the Signing Naturally curriculum, taught by certified Deaf instructors in a supportive and interactive environment.

Dates and Levels to be announced, but classes are scheduled to start the first week of July and run through to the beginning of September.
How much is the course?
All ASL classes are priced at $195 per student for registration, for any level.
Material Fees: ASL Workbook including DVD is priced at $135.00 (required for 101 and 103)

To register, please download the registration form from our website www.chs.ca/asl and submit the completed form by email attachment to asleducation@chs.ca . You may also come by our office, at the Frontenac Mall, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm and register in person.

WAK (We Are Kids!) – Youth Program in Smiths Falls
This program is a partnership between Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lanark County, YAK Youth Services and the Town of Smiths Falls. This is a FREE program for all youth aged 12 to 18 in Smiths Falls and Area. The program runs 4 nights a week out of the hall in the Youth Arena. We offer a wide range of activities with a focus on physical activity, positive mental health and a healthy snack daily. We have many community partners that help support this program. The Table Community Food Centre runs a teens in the kitchen program every second Tuesday and Lanark County Community Justice runs their Be Strong program on the other Tuesdays. Kids Funfest offers free, fun, and quality educational/interactive experiences for the whole family. It is taking place on the Outdoor Grounds at Clearwater Arena in Sarnia, ON, on Saturday, June 9th, 2018. The event runs from 9:00AM – 2:00PM with free admission.

Rummage and Plant Sale at St. Luke's Anglican Church, on Saturday, May 26th from 8:00am until 11:00am. St. Luke's is at 307 Julien St., Pembroke. Items include household items, books, clothes and outdoor and indoor plants. Will be held inside so is on rain or shine.
Help Fairmount residents raise money for the KFL&A Walk for Alzheimer's by coming out and finding some treasures at our yard sale! Also enjoy a yummy pancake breakfast with proceeds going to Fairmount's Walk for Alzheimer's Team.
