The Kingston Lapidary & Mineral Club is once again hosting their 2024 Gem Storm event to be held in the Event Centre at St. Lawrence College, 100 Portsmouth Avenue, Kingston.  This show and sale features riches from the earth and includes not only exotic fossils, crystals, minerals and gemstones - but also unique jewellery, hourly door prizes and fun activities for the entire family.  Admission is $5 per person and free for children under 12.

Belleville Public Library's Adult Chess Club is for ages 18 and up. The club meets every second Monday (bi-weekly) at 5:30pm. Bring your own chess board or borrow one from the library and meet with fellow chess players for a friendly game. All skill levels are invited to this informal, self-led program.
