A Concert of Musical Fireworks from Moussorgsky to Shostakovich

The University Wind Ensemble enjoys a rich heritage of musical excellence, bringing together both university and high school students as well as members of the Niagara musical community. Led by conductor Zoltan Kalman, the ensemble explores major symphonic wind band works, both original and arranged.

The repertoire includes Modeste Moussorgsky: "Pictures at an Exhibition",  Gustav Mahler: "Adagietto", Shostakovich: "Festive Overture", Jerry Boch: "Symphonic Dances from Fiddler on the Roof", Rob Smith: "Push"' and Julius Fucik; "The Old Grumbly Bear" featuring Brittany McCorriston Bassoon.

We are seeking submissions for this year's Juried Art Show. Any type of artwork is accepted including sculptures, paintings etc. 

Cash Prizes to be won. Artwork will be on display throughout the summer and here for our busiest weekend during  WAMBO giving you an opportunity to show off your talents. 

Prize night August 17th with all the entry fees going back into the prize funds. Also sponsored by the Wallaceburg Rotary

Entries $15 per art piece with a maximum of 2 per person. Closing date for entries June 23rd. Show will be held from June 29-August 30th 2018

Our annual art show for the students of Wallaceburg and district will be on display from May 25th til June 22nd with works from all ages and grades . They will be competing for prizes which will be handed out at the Awards night on June 1st at 5pm
