Falls Prevention Series:Standing Strong & Tall
Tuesdays, November 12th & 26th, 2024

Twin Bridges Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic, Program Room (Front St Entrance)
This beginner level class will consist of a combination of exercises (seated and standing) and information focused on “falls prevention”. The exercises will aim to improve posture and balance by increasing strength and stability in the trunk and lower body.
Please bring non-slip indoor shoes and water.

Fitness Series: Low Impact Cardio & Strength Training
November 5th – 26th, 2024

Twin Bridges NPLC Program Room (Park and enter via Front Street Entrance)
Each weekly session will include a different combination of low impact cardio and strength exercises classes in a group exercise format. Intermediate level, moderate intensity exercises.
NOTE: Please bring indoor shoes, water and your own set of dumbbells each week (2 - 5 lbs is recommended).

Did you know that shoulder pain is the third most common muscle and joint complaint for which people seek medical care?
Whether you are currently experiencing shoulder pain or simply looking to prevent it, this class is for you. This class will consist of group exercises focused on injury prevention and rehabilitation. Exercises will aim to improve range of motion, strength and stability of the shoulder.
Resistance bands will be provided.

Did you know that playing games (board games, card games, trivia, bingo) can have a positive impact on your overall health? It’s true, games and social interactions can help reduce stress and feelings of isolation, improve cognitive function and memory.
No experience necessary. Participants present will be divided into teams of two, you do not need to register as a team.
