This fall Chatham-Kent Public Library invites everyone to “Come Write In” with the National Novel Writing Month Challenge (NaNoWriMo).This program is for all writers looking for some inspiration, a quiet place to work or a chance to meet other “Wrimos.”  Come Write In will be offered every Wednesday in November from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

St. Catharines-based artist Mori McCrae discusses her “pink work”, tactile sculptures of the female form in which she embedded poetry as a means of blending body and voice. Made instinctively and from non-traditional materials including plastics and flocking, McCrae describes the production of this series as one of the most interesting, intense, and exhaustive periods of her creative life.

Admission by donation ($5 suggested), free for members and students.

Brentwood got hit bad during the flood causing multi-millions of dollars in damage. We are holding a fish fry fundraiser to help us re-build after this terrible disaster destroyed OUR HOME!!  Please come out and support us on November 5th from 12-7 for a dinner and raffle.
