BurlingtonGreen is pleased to host another engaging and informative webinar with Bob Bell, this time highlighting the wonderful world of Backyard Birding.
The event will take place on Wed, Jan 31st from 7:00pm – 8: 15pm via Zoom. (register at the brief form below)
In this webinar, Bob will be sharing some of his experiences and tips that will help you take your backyard birding to the next level.
Bob has worked to attract a wide variety of birds to his backyard (in Ancaster) and he has heard from many folks, including his fellow birders, that they are amazed at the different species that often visit him.
Are you interested but not able to attend? No problem, this event will be recorded. A link to the video recording will be sent to all registrants following the event.

Community Event - Peterborough/Lindsay - Peterborough Coin Show - Spring 2024

Everyone welcome, one day only, Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at Westdale United Church, 1509 Sherbrooke St. W., Peterborough, ON, K9K 0E6, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
There is an entry fee of only $2.00 and children under 12 free. There is free parking and barrier free access.
There will be dealers from around Ontario to satisfy your collecting needs. If you are interested in or currently collecting coins, medallions, bills, notes or tokens, there will be something here for you. An opportunity like this is usually only available locally but once a year, so don’t miss out.
There will be displays and exhibits of numismatic material from around the world. Come out and enjoy yourself and bring the whole family. This is something of interest for all ages. You don’t need to be a collector to enjoy yourself.

Community Event - Peterborough/Lindsay - KAPEX 2024 - Peterborough's only annual stamp show
The Kawartha Stamp Club invites the public to their 67th annual stamp show and exhibition on Saturday, April 13th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Westdale United Church, 1509 Sherbrooke St., Peterborough, ON K9K 0E6. This is the only regional stamp show for the Peterborough area. There is lots of free parking, and is a free entry event, with a free gift for every child who attends. There will be stamp dealers from around Ontario, Canada Post, raffles, draw prizes, table auctions, club books, juried stamp exhibits, collection evaluations. There is something for everyone and everyone is welcome to this free all age’s event.
