All motorized boat operators in Canada, regardless of age are required by law to have a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC).
The Canadian Power Squadron PCOC course is the only Canadian course that is NASBLA approved and officially recognized by the US Coast Guard.
The Sarnia Power Squadron is offering the PCOC course, over two evenings, May 15 & 16, 2024. The cost of the course is $75.00

Our April meeting will host Lori and Lorraine of Thyme Again Gardens in Carrying Place, who will be discussing their practice of Permaculture Gardening. Join us and learn about what this entails and how it benefits both people’s health and the environment. View the breathtaking vistas captured by contemporary landscape artist Cheryl Bailey OSA in her solo exhibit in the Joyner Gallery from May 1 - May 26, 2024. The public is warmly welcomed to the opening reception on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to personally engage with the artist, savour the artwork, and connect with fellow art appreciators over refreshments and nibbles. Cheryl will offer remarks around 2:30 pm. This event is generously supported by Château des Charmes, providing an assortment of fine wines.
