Milton Historical Society is hosting See You At The Waldie Blacksmith Shop in support of Milton DBIA's

See You In September Car Show on Saturday September 14, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in beautiful and

historic downtown Milton. The Waldie Blacksnith Shop is located at 16 James Street at the north end

of downtown Milton. Live blacksmith demonstrations and sales of the Society's popular books of local

history, unique gifts and gift certificates will be featured at the Shop.

The Milton Historical Society Monthly Speakers Series resumes on Thursday September 19th at 7:30 p.m. with a presentation by historian Helen Callaway about the history of Kilbride. Her presentation will take place at The Waldie Blacksmith Shop, 16 James Street in beautiful and historic downtown Milton. There is no charge to attend. Guests will hear about a store that rivaled Timothy Eaton’s, a Vaudeville sensation, the controversy about the Dakota Mill name, the Powder Mill explosion, the imposter who practiced medicine in Kilbride and more of the rich history of this area.
