Need help using a computer? The Niagara Regional Learning Centre can help. A free computer basics course starts April 9th for adults (seniors welcome!) in St. Catharines. Classes will be held Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00 to 11:30. There will be eight classes altogether. Laptops provided for use during classes. We cover email use including sending photos and documents via attachments, how to browse websites for information, improve your keyboarding skills and internet safety tips. We are please to have Herman Giethoorn in the Gallery with his amazing photography at the Wallaceburg and District Museum.  Meet Herman Friday, April 5, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm.

If your in the area and would like to see his "Flora and Fungi" wildflowers and mushroom display the gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

Community Event - Milton/Halton Hills - Milton Good Neighbours Day Returns April 27th

Good Neighbours Day, the popular community-led, volunteer neighbourhood clean-up program founded in 1992 by former Ward 2 resident, the late Len Lee (1942 – 2023), will return on Saturday April 27th after a five-year hiatus. Starting off with registration and breakfast at 8 a.m. at Hugh Foster Hall, located beside Town Hall, volunteers will be given their tasks, a t-shirt and cleaning products and, by 9 a.m. they will be on their way for a half-day or full day of cleaning parks, walking areas, hiking areas, roadsides and ditches, the banks of 16 Mile Creek or the Mill Pond and private property owned by local senior citizens. For further information or to register, visit www.miltongoodneighboursday.ca  or email: miltongoodneighbours@gmail.com
