Northumberland Chorus, Sweet Adelines would like to thank you for the wonderful support you have shown us in 2023.  It's been a wonderful year of singing, and it's so good to be back in full swing! Your comments have been amazing, and we look forward to you joining us in the new year, beginning on Monday, January 8th, 7pm to sing with us. You will love it, and the friendships are for life! Community Event - Quinte - Belleville Choral Society presents FLIGHT

Belleville Choral Society’s next concert will be on January 20, 2024 at 2 pm with the doors at  St Matthew’s United Church 25 Holloway St, opening at 1:30.  Entitled ‘FLIGHT’, the performance will feature voices soaring in harmony. Directed by Heather Christiansen and accompanied by Tom Dietzel, the choir will perform music ranging from haunting melodies sung as a round to foot-stomping, clapping calls for hope in dark times.  Joining BCS is the Centennial Secondary 9-12 Vocal Majors, directed by Sarra Ostanski. Admission: $20 adult, $10 Student or children 16 and under. Tickets available online or at the door.

Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - Antique Appraisal Event

We’re hosting an Antique Appraisal Event at Ireland House Museum on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Treasure Antiques will be onsite to appraise your items at a cost of $10/item. There is a maximum of 2 items per time slot. If you would like to bring more than 2 items, please book an additional time slot. Please note that military items and books will not be appraised. Admission for a guided tour of Ireland House can be purchased at the Museum at 50% off if you have prepaid for an item appraisal. Email museuminfo@burlington.ca with any questions.
