Community Event - Quinte - Bellevegas VI - Hip for the Holidays Concert!
The Dan Shaer Big Band is kicking off the Holiday Season with Bellevegas VI - Hip For the Holidays Christmas Concert in support of Gleaners Food Bank and The Grace Inn Shelter on Saturday December 2nd at the Maranatha on College Street in Belleville starting at 7PM.
Joining the Dan Shaer Big Band for this concert will be six vocalists including Wendy Shaer, AJ Stewart, Sonya Zaback, Lenni Stewart, Jeanette Arsenault and Sam Brady. “Each of these singers are talented in their own right with each bringing a different style to their performance so we know there will be something for everybody to enjoy during the show”, Dan points out. “And I have to say that this ensemble of musicians in the Big Band is about the best combination we’ve had in all our productions over the years. The rehearsals have been almost magical”, he says.
“Joining us once again as our emcee is the very talented actor/singer Rick Zimmerman who is among the best emcees you can find in this area”, Wendy Shaer adds.
The evening performance will be reminiscent of the big band era of days gone by with lush arrangements beautifully played by talented musicians.
Special thanks to Wilkinson and Company, Dr Jim's Computer Repair, Stormy's Auto Group and Belleville Downtown Blues Festival as well as Quinte Broadcasting and Starboard Communications for helping with this fundraising concert.
Tickets are $25 and are available at the Maranatha Box office, online at Eventbrite or through www.shaerproductions.com

Stuffer Showcase!
This brand new event promises to be a fun night to kick off the holiday season while supporting
local businesses!
Here's how it works: You start by looking at and sampling all the best local
holiday products for the upcoming gift-buying season from over 20 local businesses. Then, you
raise your paddle and try to win the items! To cap off the night, we have an amazing dance
party hosted by DJ Michelle Ensom.
“If you’re unsure what this event is, it is simply avid shoppers getting together to win prizes, get
holiday shopping lists in check and celebrate with an 80s/90s dance party. The HTC is always
thinking of new and exciting ways to show support to our invaluable local business owners, so
we’re hoping this showcase grows even bigger next year. We have over 20 stocking stuffer
prizes to give away and are so grateful to every business who has been a part of this new
initiative. We also want to thank our sponsor, GB Plumbing, for their fantastic support.”
Stocking Stuffer Showcase takes place Saturday November 25th at Music on Main (7 Main Street
