Socialize with other solo diners in a group for dinner, Thursday, November 21st, 5:30, at the Mandarin Restaurant, St. Catharines.  All adult ages regardless of marital status are welcomed.  Order off the menu or enjoy the buffet.  Seniors 65+ with id get 20% off the buffet price.  Over 100 people have attended a Solo Diner event with groups averaging 20+ people of various ages and backgrounds.  Maybe it's time to check it out for yourself.  No paperwork or no membership fee is required.  Reserve by 7 pm the night before the event at carolparker19@gmail.com. In conjunction with Milton DBIA/Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation Miracle on Main, Milton Historical Society will host its annual ChristmasFest Books and Curiosities Sale on Saturday December 7, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Waldie Blacksmith Shop at 16 James Street in beautiful and historic downtown Milton. The Society has some unique and highly desirable Christmas gift ideas for that hard-to-buy-for family member or friend who loves Milton. Watch for an amazing book bundle deal on coffee table-quality books of local history. Also available are the Society’s classic coffee table mugs and great gift certificates for the Guided Walking Tours and Blacksmith courses.
