Tri-County Literacy Council, 101 2nd Street West, is pleased to offer a FREE 6-Week Training: Health Care Support Worker starting Monday, April 8th. In Canada, the population is aging, and the need for more support for ailing and disabled individuals is increasing. The health care support worker profession is an emerging field of employment. Assisting with bedside and personal care to clients, planning and preparing meals, helping with light housework, and spending time talking to clients are typical duties of a health care support worker. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about:
