Come and be a part of a magical and heartwarming community Christmas celebration at St. John's Church Thorold this holiday season! Our Christmas Market and Play is a delightful event that brings together the festive spirit of a Christmas market, the cozy atmosphere of a café, and the enchantment of a Christmas play, all in one place. Here's what you can look forward to:

Step into a wonderland as our church transforms into a charming Christmas market. Take a leisurely stroll between 2:30 - 4 pm or 5pm - 6pm through the beautifully decorated hall, filled with twinkling lights and festive decorations. Explore the stalls where you'll find a wide variety of delicious treats, from beautifully decorated cookies to savory samosas, all lovingly prepared by local vendors. And don't forget to indulge in these delights in our cozy café, where you can warm up with a cup of steaming hot cocoa or freshly brewed coffee.

The highlight of our event is a heartwarming Christmas Nativity play that will touch your soul. Join us in our beautifully decorated sanctuary from 4pm - 5pm to witness a captivating and often humorous performance that tells the story of the first Christmas. Admission is free, but if you could bring non-perishable food items for Community Care or hats, mittens, or scarves for our Warming Tree (donations will be distributed to RAFT and others), it would be greatly appreciated.

As the sun sets, we gather around the beautiful Christmas tree in front of our church. You'll have the opportunity to personalize ornaments and hang them on the tree as a symbol of hope or a heartfelt prayer.

We can't wait to share this special time with you and create cherished memories that will last a lifetime. So, mark your calendar, invite your friends and family, and let us make your Christmas season truly magical!

The majority of the donations collected by the Windsor Goodfellows comes from our Annual Paper Drive. And with the consistent increase in cost to run our food bank and lunch box programs (40% year over year) we need the help of our community now more than ever.
