The Pembroke Regional Hospital is your community hospital. We provide many specialized regional services and are a teaching centre affiliated with the University of Ottawa, providing learning experiences for a variety of health care professionals and delivering a comprehensive range of high quality health services. The Board of Directors serve as stewards as they govern and lead the organization; governance responsibilities include oversight and accountability for: • Mission, vision and values • Strategic planning • Financial stewardship • Quality and performance monitoring • Stakeholder communication The Pembroke Regional Hospital is receiving applications for the Board of Directors and Community Representatives on Board Committees. Applicants to the Board of Directors should be prepared to make a significant commitment for a three-year term (with the possibility to reapply for two additional terms). Community Representatives on Board Committees are appointed annually. Ideal candidates will have the knowledge, skill and experience that will enable them to contribute to the Hospital, support the core values of quality and compassionate care and reflect the diversity of the community we serve.
