Sherwood Park Manor, a non-profit long-term home is looking ahead to another 50 years with a redevelopment project taking place this year into next.

Hoping to open this new build in August 2025, there's a need to fundraise $5 million, as the community portion of the $46 million price tag.

This build will provide an additional 25 patient beds with the 'Pandemic Proofed' distinct ventilation systems throughout.

If you like to walk or snowshoe, plus art, then the AOG Sculpture Garden, Gallery, and Art Trail is for you.

Forty-plus new art pieces adorn the sculpture garden and the three kilometers of trails at AOG Gallery.

The AOG Gallery is a private collection of contemporary art.

The trails and garden are open to fully vaccinated visitors and the AOG is open by appointment.

Community Event - Brockville/Prescott - Brockville's New Years Eve Church Concerts

Brockville's 2023 New Year's Eve Concerts start at 6 p.m., at St. John's United Church with a Family Focus on performances for children and those that are young at heart. 

As well, Cinderella from the Fairytale Loft will share some of her favorite songs.

Other performers include Madelaine Jones (sax), Henry Sechi (piano), and Claire Girouard (vocals).

Four churches are participating this year, St. John's United Church, Wall Street Church, St. Paul's Anglican Church, and First Baptist Church.

There will be Motown, Jazz, Christmas Carols, Broadway, Pop, Funk, Rock, Folk, and Classical; something for all listening pleasure.

These are free will offering concerts.
