St. Francis de Sales Knights of Columbus Council will be serving their next Community Roast Beef Dinner on Thursday, November 9th in the St. Francis de Sales Parish Hall (434 Second St. W.) from 4:30pm to 6pm. Complete dinner including coleslaw, dinner roll, roast beef entrée, mashed potatoes, vegetables, dessert and beverage. All are welcome. Fully accessible hall with elevator service provided. Adults $15.00 and under 12 years $5.00.

These Community Roast Beef Dinners are held to raise funds in support of the Knights of Columbus Council's charitable programs in the Cornwall community.

Gallery in the Grove's annual Gifts of the Season returns November 4- December 16. This is a curated event showcasing 15 local artists with a wide range of beautifully handmade pieces for sale. Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday 2pm-5pm, Friday & Saturday 11am-2pm. Gallery in the Grove is a non-profit art gallery in Bright's Grove supporting youth education in Sarnia-Lambton. The Milton Downtown Business Improvement Area has partnered with The Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation to host the 15th Annual Miracle On Main Street on Saturday December 9th from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. -- and Milton Historical Society's Annual ChristmasFest Extravaganza will be there to help both organizations, as well. The Society's ChristmasFest Extravaganza will operate from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. from the Waldie Blacksmith Shop at its 16 James Street location, affording Miltonians the opportunity to watch blacksmiths in action at the Shop's two forges, offering deals on its books of local history, unique Society Christmas gifts and vintage curiosities, and selling 2024 MHS memberships and gift certificates for blacksmith classes. Like the Waldie Blacksmith Shop, admission to the Miracle On Main is free. However, Miracle On Main organizers would appreciate the donation of a new unwrapped toy upon entry to its festivities, which include free amusement rides, food and drinks, stage performances, a petting zoo, pony rides and Christmas gift oriented vendors.
