"Ruckus" will once again take the stage to benefit the Niagara SPCA & Humane Society with the Rock 4 Paws benefit concert on August 10th. The event this year will be held at the Whiskey and Walleye in Port Colborne. Tickets are only $5 and seating is limited so feel free to bring your own lawn chair. The event will feature prize draws, 50/50, and a penny sale. The doors open at 6:30 with "Nostalgia" taking the stage at 7 followed by "Ruckus" at 8pm.

Celebrate the summer season with the start of our Scottish Tea Season on Tuesday, July 2nd  2024. Scottish Teas will continue every Tuesday- Saturday until August 31, 2024 from 1-4 pm.

Scottish Tea, served on the terrace in the period garden, includes fresh baked scones, preserves, whipped cream, oatcakes, and tea, lemonade, or ice tea. Complimentary tours of the 1840s restored stone house are included with the teas. The cost for tea is $12.00 for adults and youth, $8.00 for children under 10 years of age, children under 5 are free. The Collective meets every other Thursday in the Library’s 2nd floor Board Room. Join other writers to chat about your work, get ideas, and gain insight on how to improve your writing. Writers’ groups are a great place to encourage yourself and others to meet your writing goals, whether you’re writing fiction or nonfiction.
