Community Event - Quinte - Pancake Supper at Trenton United Church
We'd like to invite you to join us for a delicious pancake supper this coming Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Trenton United Church.

Community Event - Kingston - Kingston Symphony | Livingston & Rachmaninoff
This concert’s program celebrates the creative process with the live premiere of John Estacio’s Domestic Divertimento, a work created and digitally premiered to international acclaim during the pandemic. We also premiere Cecilia Livingston’s song cycle Breath Alone, based on text by Canadian poet and novelist Anne Michaels, and sung by soprano Rachel Krehm. Rachmaninoff’s magnificent Second Symphony completes the program, which we guarantee will be a feast for your ears!

Public Notices/Announcements - Peterborough/Lindsay - Friends of the Library (FOL) Spring Book Sale.
The Friends of the Peterborough Public Library will host their Spring Book Sale on Friday April 26th and Saturday April 27th. The Sale begins on Friday at 12:00 noon and continues until 7 p.m. The hours on Saturday are 10:00 a.m. until 3 pm. There will be rare books dating from the early 20th century right through to current bestsellers. Many categories of non-fiction books can be found and we offer a varied selection of mysteries. We have a wide array of children’s books from baby’s first book to teen fiction. Whatever category of book you're looking for, there's a good chance you'll find it at our Sale. The earlier you come, the better your chances. All proceeds from our sale will be donated to the Peterborough Public Library for special programming. We look forward to seeing you there.
