A Celebration of Music and Dance for All!
Friday June 14th at 7pm and Saturday June 15 at 2pm, Stars 21+ presents “I Feel Like Dancing,” A Celebration of Music and Dance by Young adults With Exceptionalities at the Sarnia Library Theatre.
16 talented young adults with exceptionalities from ages 21-42 have been rehearsing twice a week since April 1st, learning dances, songs and scenes. The show includes a tap dance, drumming, singing, ASL and jokes. The show promises to be not only entertaining, it’s incredibly heart warming and inspiring. 7 women support onstage and off, but the cast shines all throughout.
“The group gives our young adults an opportunity to perform onstage for their audiences, as well as giving them a social community. They enjoy the camaraderie of seeing each other twice a week and working toward a full -length musical show,” says director, creator Holly Wenning.
“We presented our first annual show “I am Sunshine” in January 2023. This is our 2nd annual show, with the promise of many more.”
