Chatham-Kent's storm sewer system collects rainwater and surface water runoff from roads and parking lots in natural channels and catch basins.

It's important to keep these clear and free from debris to prevent flooding.

Ring in the holiday season with our annual Snowflake Tea on Saturday November 25 and Sunday November 26 with sittings at 1pm and 2:30pm. Enjoy a light tea with Christmas treats by the Fire in the Keeping Room for $15 each. There is limited seating and pre-registration and payment is required.  Items for sale at the Christmas Market will be available during the tea. For more information or to reserve your seat please contact the Museum office at 705-743-9710. This event in organized by the volunteers of Hutchison House Museum.

The Christmas Season is upon us, and Hutchison House Museum volunteers will host their annual Christmas Market on Saturday November 25 from 9am-12pm. Home baking, shortbread, fruit pies, jams, jellies and preserves will be featured, along with other special seasonal treats. In addition to the Empire Cheese orders, we will be offering some of our most popular items for pre-ordering as well including greenery and shortbread. Be sure to order ahead to ensure that you get the items you hope for. The Deadline for all advance orders is Wednesday November 15, 2023.

SYNERGY 150 presents “Somewhere in “OUR” Memories” as they return to the stage for two performances.

This 58-voice community choir looks forward to having you join them to enjoy hearing and singing many of your favourite songs from your younger years, and ours!  As always, the concert includes a slideshow and stories about the songs you will hear, including “Love Me Tender”, The Sound of Silence”,  “The Impossible Dream”, plus many more. Join them for a pleasant trip down Musical Memory Lane!

Friday October 27 at 7 PM and Saturday October 28 at 2 PM

Adults: $20  Students: $10  Under 12 free.
