Community Living Wallaceburg is looking for volunteer drivers for their April 18th Box Lunch Fundraiser. Pick-up location is The Black Goose Grill in Wallaceburg and deliveries will be going out across Chatham-Kent and the surrounding areas.

ORDER DEADLINE EXTENDED for the Community Living Wallaceburg Box Lunch Fundraiser. Order by April 11th!

Alien's are invading the Chatham Branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library!

Join them on Tuesday, April 23 at 6pm as they try to help the aliens conquer the solar system. Build an alien and use block coding and the library's Sphero Bolts to bring them to life!

Drop off your used solar eclipse glasses to any Chatham-Kent Public Library branch and they will donate them to Astronomers Without Borders!

 

Deadline for donation is May 1. They will accept any ISO-approved solar eclipse glasses.

Community Event - Chatham - Celebrating People & Culture in Chatham-Kent Trip

Come hit the road with us as we visit The Josiah Henson Museum of African-Canadian History and enjoy a delicious lunch at Parks Blueberries

This trip is funded in part by the Together CK grant from the Municipality of Chatham Kent

Date: Wednesday, May 1st

Bus departs the Centre at 9 am and returns at approximately 3:30 pm

 

What's included in the trip:

Take a guided tour, led by Steven Cook, of the 5 acre museum site that recognizes the accomplishments of Josiah Henson through interpretive videos, interactive exhibits, numerous artifacts and tours that reflect the Black experience in Canada.

With your $20 lunch voucher you can choose from any of the delicious menu items at the Parks cafe. Browse and shop their bake shop and country store.

 

Your ticket includes bus travel, museum admission and a $20 lunch voucher to the parks cafe

Bus trip ticket pricing: $25 for members, $35 for non-members
