Seniors 60+ are invited to get active, make friends, be well! Prince Edward Community Care offers over 50 online events each month for seniors 60+. Online Zoom fitness and arts classes along with socials are held Monday to Friday. In December, the Zoom webinar topics include “Christmas Craft & Cocoa” with Community Care; “Licence Renewal for Seniors 80+” with Lisa Lapierre from Ministry of Transportation; “Virtual Bingo” with Community Care; and “Christmas Sing-A-long” with Bev Verge. Turkey & the Trimmings curbside pickup meal for seniors, December 12th, 2023 – pick up in Picton
Prince Edward Community Care holds monthly curbside pick-up of meals. The December event is on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023, and the pickup location is in Picton at The View Restaurant. Chef Bill Grieve of Wheelhouse and Occasions Catering is preparing a scrumptious meal of homemade soup, roast turkey with dressing and cranberry sauce, veggies, a roll and Christmas pudding. The cost is $20.00/meal and seniors 60+ can order by calling the Community Care office at 613-476-7493. All meals must be paid for in advance. Meals will be packaged hot and ready to be picked up at The View Restaurant at the Picton Golf Club. Only those who preorder and pay will be served.
