DONATIONS
Donations gratefully accepted. We would love to receive items in good condition: prints/paintings, frames, collectables, jewellery, linens, lamps, household items, toys, sporting equipment, craft items, holiday items and decorations. . Please NO books or clothing.

DROP OFF

Donations may be dropped off at the Oakville Historical Society's offices at 110 King Street, Oakville on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1 and 4:30pm starting May 28th. Items may also be dropped off on Sunday June 16th and Sunday July 21st between 1 and 4:30pm. 

Last day for donation drop off is Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 4:30.

All monies raised directly support the Oakville Historical Society's mission to preserve and promote our local history. 

Joining the Recycling Team at Canada's Largest Ribfest means more than just volunteering. It's about making meaningful contributions, building valuable skills, and being a part of a community event.

The Three Sisters Garden at The Brown Homestead follows a long Indigenous tradition of companion planting corn, beans, and squash, also known as the Three Sisters, together.  

Join us from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. as Jackie Labonte and Marie Louise lead a special opening ceremony for the garden.

Tours of S.S. Keewatin can now be booked, with trips back in time starting as soon as May 13. Get the real passenger experience, learn her history from knowledgeable experts, and experience the grandeur of the Queen of the Great Lakes.
