The first annual Bonnechere Valley Inspired Tour will take place Sat 5 Aug 10 am – 5pm and Sun 6 Aug from 10 am – 4 pm.  Featuring the works of over 30 local artists and artisans located at 17 stops within Bonnechere Valley Township, you are sure to be inspired! The weekend kicks off with a Welcome Drum and Smudge at the Bonnechere Museum Sat morning at 10 am.  Visiting the stops you will find well known painters, jewellers, woodworkers, weavers, photographers, soap makers, and many more participants including businesses who support local creators by curating their works. There are edible artists with their tantalizing foods and even some animal participants such as goats to cuddle and long horn cattle to see up close. We are proud of our heritage and have two museums open for viewing and many of the stops are also in century buildings and homesteads.  Sat evening, Ottawa Valley Farm to Fork is hosting a farm to fork dinner (ticketed event) in their lovingly restored heritage barn.  We are family friendly not only for visitors but also for our participants.  There are 6 creative families exhibiting! The tour is bicycle friendly.  If you are cycling the tour, participants will deliver large purchases up to 50 kms or if you are parking and cycling we can stay open after hours so you can pick up your large pieces or arrange to drop to your car at the end of the tour.  We are environmentally conscious and have kept the driving time (and gas) to a minimum.  If you start in Eganville (My Country Home) and go to every stop, finishing at Ottawa Valley Farm to Fork, it is a total of 72kms/63 mins.

Please bring cash or cheques as not all vendors take debit or credit cards

There will be handouts with a map and list of all participants available at every stop as there are portions of the tour that have limited access to internet.

Visit us on facebook -  Bonnechere Valley Inspired - for a map of the tour and more detailed information on participants

Vocalist Sherri Harding emerges from the background onto centre stage with her first original album - A MILLION PIECES, that was released on March 25, 2023. Recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, where some of her heroes like Aretha Franklin and Etta James recorded before her, the album is a diverse mix of hook-laden rock and up-tempo, horn-infused pop, that would make her idols proud.

For this special performance, Sherri has assembled a powerhouse band with some of Ottawa’s finest musicians and singers, including several members of the Cooper Brothers. Sherri will play her new album in its entirety as well as some classics inspired by her Muscle Shoals experience.
