Registration 9 – 10 am.

This non-competitive 5km walk is open to everyone. B-b-q and door prizes to follow. All funds raised remain in Windsor to help provide services & equipment to those living with A.L.S. in Windsor-Essex and Chatham- Kent counties.  Pledge sheets available at www.alswindsor.ca

Join us for a fun 4-week, beginner level, low intensity outdoor walking program. Each week will consist of a brief warm-up, leisurely-paced walk along paved park pathways, social interaction and a gentle cool down.

This is a beginner-level class, combining the benefits of gentle stretching and guided meditation. The goal is to improve mobility and reduce tension using a combination of stretching, guided meditation and progressive relaxation techniques.

This beginner level class will include a combination of seated and standing exercises to increase strength and flexibility, to improve posture and joint alignment. Classes will follow the Canadian Arthritis Society guidelines.

Please dress to allow for movement, wear non-slip indoor shoes & bring water. 

(Resistance bands will be provided, as needed.)
