Create a custom vinyl decal for your reusable water bottle. In this workshop we will design with Canva and use the library’s Cricut Maker to cut your personalized design out of vinyl. Remember to bring your water bottle!

The Friends of the Perth & District Library are holding another fantastic Book Sale on Saturday, July 22nd, from 9 am to 3 pm , in the Library Garden, 30 Herriott Street, Perth. There will be a great assortment of fiction for adults, young adults and children. All sales are by donation and all proceeds go to the Perth & District Library. 

The Library will accept donations of gently used fiction, published after 2012, fromJuly 3rd to July 20th .

We are still on the lookout for volunteers to help run our Canada Day KidZone activity at the North Bay waterfront from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm next Saturday, July 1st. Volunteers get to answer questions about ringette and run an activity with a shooting mat, sticks and rings.

Come on out and share/show off your sport to North Bay!

This is also a great opportunity for student volunteer hours!

Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - The Burlington Welsh Male Chorus Annual Concert

The Burlington Welsh Male Chorus Annual concert at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre June 29th. 2023.

The theme of the concert will be a Dylan Thomas appreciation night in support of Flight for Hope and Home Suite Home Charities.

The choir will be performing twenty pieces in co-ordination with slide presentation on the life of Dylan Thomas.

The presentation will be narrated by Welsh Canadian Actor Paul Amos. Andrew Tees the fantastic Canadian Opera Singer will be the guest Artist who will perform a number of compositions singularly and some along with the choir.
